The winemaking team here at Noboleis Vineyards cannot be more excited or proud to introduce our newest Small Batch Series Rye Whiskey and Maple Syrup Barrel Aged Dessert Wine.
Small Batch Series: Part II
After one year in neutral wine barrels, we transferred some of our port style 2017 fortified dessert wine to barrels that originally held rye whiskey and then maple syrup, allowing it to age for another year.
This double-barrel technique added many layers of flavor, aroma and complexity to this already decadent dessert wine.
Double The Complexity
In addition to the dried fruit and dark chocolate flavors normally found in our Vol series port style wines, the latest small batch series adds layers of rich maple syrup and subtly spicy rye notes that are sure to intrigue the palate.
Deeply complex and incredibly delicious, this wine will be sure to warm you up on chilly winter nights as a pairing for many dessert dishes or as a treat to be enjoyed on its own.
